2-wire single-pole thermostats cannot be directly replaced.

Will EcoNet-BH work with my home heating system?
This product is compatible with 100v-240V electric healing systems, such as baseboard heaters, convector heaters, and fan-forced heaters. The casing dimensions (5 x 3.5 x 1.5 in) are designed specifically for North American use.

2. Is this product compatible with HVAC systems?
No. This thermostat is not compatible with 24V HVAC systems, including heat pumps or central air systems. It also does not support electric underfloor heating.
3. Can I use this with a 2-wire baseboard system?
No. This product requires at least a 4-wire configuration to operate safely and correctly.
4. Can I control multiple thermostats through one app?
Yes. The GRUS app allows grouping and centralized control of multiple units.
5. How do I install it?
- For 4-wire systems, connect the L (live), N (neutral), and LOAD wires as shown in the instructions.
- For multi-wire setups, refer to the wiring diagram or contact support.
6. How do I calibrate the temperature if it feels off?
- Turn off the thermostat.
- Press and hold the Up and Down buttons for 8 seconds.
- Scroll to "Temperature Compensation" (Code 1).
- Use the knob to adjust within -9°C to +9°C.
- Let the system auto-save and exit.
7. How many EcoNet-BH do I need?
Each EcoNet-BH is designed to work on its own -you can start with one thermostat and add more over time. To optimize your energy savings and comfort, we recommend starting with 3 thermostats in the rooms that matter most in your home.
8. How does it help me save on my electricity bill?
The smart baseboard thermostat are designed to help you reduce your monthly electricity costs by using home energy more efficiently (running your heaters as accurately and infrequently as possible).

9. What kind of network connection does EcoNet-BH require?
Each EcoNet-BH Thermostat uses a tiny amount of data — approximately 0.5 MB — per day. While it does not require any special routers and is designed to work with most household routers, it does require a unique 2.4ghz connection.
Please ensure that your router is able to operate a 2.4ghz network, and is not currently set to a merged network.
10. Will this work with my 36-inch electric baseboard heater (120V)
Yes! This thermostat is compatible with 36-inch electric baseboard heaters (120V & 240V).
Works with single-room and whole-home heating systems.
